Location:   Various locations across  Alberta As a Nurse Educator, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of educational programs for nursing staff, students, and healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help enhance nursing practices, improve patient care, and foster a culture of continuous learning within healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs, workshops, and training sessions that align with current healthcare practices and standards. Provide engaging and effective instruction to nursing staff, students, and other healthcare professionals, utilizing various teaching methods and technologies. Evaluate the competencies and performance of nursing staff and students through assessments, feedback, and practical demonstrations. Serve as a mentor and resource for nurses, providing guidance on clinical practices, professional development, and career advancement. Work with healthcare leadership and interdisciplinary teams to identify educational needs and develop strategies to address gaps in knowledge and skills. Promote and integrate evidence-based practices into educational programs, encouraging a culture of research and innovation. Stay current with trends in nursing education, healthcare regulations, and best practices to ensure that programs are relevant and effective. Assist in the development and revision of nursing policies and procedures to enhance educational standards and patient care. Requirements Bachelor?s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master?s degree in Nursing Education or related field preferred.   Active nursing license in [insert relevant state or region.   Proven experience as a nurse educator or in a related educational role, with a strong understanding of nursing practices and education methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate learners. Strong organizational skills to manage educational programs and resources effectively. Ability to assess educational needs and develop tailored programs to meet those needs. Certification in Nurse Education (CNE) or similar credentials preferred.
