Position: Access Control Security GuardSite: London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital CampusCity: London, OntarioStatus: Full TimeHours: Friday - Monday 2000-0530hrPay Rate: $18.00/hrJob DescriptionThe day-to-day work activities of an Access Control Security Guard include, but are not limited, the following duties: Control entry and access to the hospital Ensuring compliance with the standards, rules, and regulations at the hospital Able to use tact and diplomacy in dealings across a range of settings and situations Ability to maintain and enforce access control procedures Solid understanding of emergency and standard operating procedures Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act De-escalate emergency/crisis situations Requirements:Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act Superior written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy Standard First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security Licence Other InformationPaladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE!
