*Job Summary:*
Campbell Warehousing Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team in Delta, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient and effective operations. This temporary position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Coordinate Activities:* Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
* *Reporting:* Prepare and submit detailed reports related to transportation and logistics.
* *Problem Resolution:* Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
* *Customer Service:* Deliver high-quality customer service and address client inquiries and issues promptly.
* *Training:* Train workers on their duties, responsibilities, and company policies.
* *Work Coordination:* Assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
* *Dispatching:* Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders to optimize resource allocation.
* *Shipment Tracking:* Monitor and keep track of shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any issues.
* *Regulatory Knowledge:* Apply knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices to ensure compliance.
* *Scheduling and Procedures:* Establish work schedules and procedures to streamline operations.
* *Documentation:* Document work completed to maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth operations.
* *Operational Logistics:* Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure efficient workflow.
* *Duty Drawback Claims:* Manage and process duty drawback claim files in accordance with relevant regulations.
*Skills and Qualifications:*
* Advanced Excel skills required for data management and analysis.
* Excellent oral communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
* Strong analytical skills to assess and improve operational processes.
*Personal Suitability:*
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend improvements.
