If this excites you, this opportunity may be the perfect next step in your career! The Crop Advisor at Redfern Farm Services is responsible for providing support and knowledge about agronomic products to current and potential customers. The focus of this position is to provide detailed knowledge of how the various products and services of Redfern Farm Service’s work and when/how they should be applied. The Crop Advisor is assigned a territory that they will be solely responsible for. The work location for this position is Virden, Manitoba. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:Competitive wage scale offered.Full health and dental benefits.RRSP matching available.Professional development fund (including professional certification fees, training etc.) WHAT YOU WILL DO:Provide professional support, product information, crop advice, and consultations to farmers.Take strategic ownership/leadership of the sales and customer service process by developing and maintaining positive relationship to increase overall sales volume.Oversee and manage marketing activities including advertising, cold calling, and customer contact pre/post sale.Provide professional level services including crop and fertility planning, soil sampling, and sharing knowledge and awareness of new trends and technologies in the industry. WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Background in agriculture and related experience is required.Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.Ability to work independently, effectively manage time and be self motivated.Strength in the application and use of industry specific and productivity software (Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, other industry programs)Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license APPLY TODAY!To apply for this opportunity, please submit your cover letter and resume by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION.
