Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Monitoring animal health. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Feed and tend animals. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Experience: Will train.- LocationParkhill, ON
