Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Train new drafting personnel. Develop and prepare design sketches. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Write technical reports. Write specifications. Estimate costs and materials. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Type of drafting: Presentation drawings. Computer and technology knowledge: Computer-aided design (CAD). SketchUp. Adobe Photoshop. AutoCAD. Autodesk REVIT. Specialization or experience: 3D Modeling. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: Experience an asset.
