Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Art gallery. Tasks: Assist in the research, handling and storage of artifacts. Assist with the planning and development of travelling exhibitions and special events. Classify and assign registration numbers to artifacts and supervise inventory control. Prepare and mount skins of birds or animals for preservation, scientific or display purposes. Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit and in storage. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Photoshop. AutoCAD. MS Office. SketchUp. InDesign. Technical experience: Cataloging. Curatorial assisting. Exhibit preparation. Interpretation/guiding. Exhibit preparation experience: Display cases. Mounting/installing objects. Area of specialization: Painting. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel internationally. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Accurate.
