Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Remote location. Private company, corporation or industry. Tasks: Direct trust account investments. Identify clients' financial goals and objectives. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems. Analyze clients' financial records. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies. Develop financial plans for clients. Prepare reports and audit findings. Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement and estate planning. Prepare financial statements and reports. Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Provide financial, business and tax advice. Oversee payroll administration. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation. Charterered Professional Accountant (CPA). Computer and technology knowledge: Quick Books. MS Excel.
