Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of trucking and equipment: Dump truck. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Short-haul. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Personal suitability: Organized. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking. Patience.
