Reid & Wright Advertising Ltd. and The Meridian Source are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join us full-time. If you excel in customer service and love working with people, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
As an Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly. You'll handle a variety of important tasks, from greeting clients to supporting our accounting team.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Be the friendly face of our office: answer phone calls, greet clients, and assist with inquiries
* Foster strong customer relationships and provide top-notch service
* Handle clerical tasks like filing, word processing and photocopying
* Process transactions, post receipts, and reconcile daily deposits
* Assist with ad set-ups, classifieds, subscriptions, and more
* Prepare and sort mail before publication
* Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and follow up with customers
* Keep our reception area organized and welcoming
* Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed
* Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team
*What We're Looking For*
* Accounting experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles
* Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
* Adaptability to new software and technology
* A strong sense of organization and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Confidence in working both independently and as part of a team
* A sharp eye for detail and a high level of integrity
* The ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines with ease
* A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
