*About Us:* Hiawatha is a vibrant First Nation community located on the beautiful north shore of Rice Lake. We are located approximately 20 minutes from Peterborough, ON and 45 minutes from Cobourg, ON. There are approximately 1000 registered citizens, with approximately 235 residing in Hiawatha. In the summer months our population increases significantly. Hiawatha is an employer that prides itself on diversity and fairness, providing a progressive working environment that fosters culture, positivity and growth. *Position Summary:* The Wellbeing Services Manager (WSM) will provide clinical supervision, case management and quality assurance in the delivery of the services and operations of the Wellbeing Services Centre. This WSM will manage specific programs within the portfolio of Health and Social Services as delegated by the Director of Health and Social Services. The Wellbeing Services Manager must be an extremely organized person with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage their time effectively. This position will have to work with all departments within the organization as they relate to the Health and Social Services department and maintain the strictest of confidentiality. The WSM will regularly support staff in the areas of addictions, crisis management, mental health and culture. The incumbent must follow the strategic plans of the organization, adhering to the HFN vision and values. *Reporting:* This position will report directly to the Director of Health and Social Services and will provide on-site management of delegated programs within the Wellbeing Services Centre. This position will manage the Healthy Lifestyles Worker, Family Wellbeing Coordinator, Cultural Coordinator and Indigenous Outreach Worker. They will also oversee any third party services operating from the centre. *Main Responsibilities:* Management support, quality of services/program delivery to the community with the established strategic frameworks and funding guidelines; Adheres to relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines governing mental health and addiction services. Managing staff and providing input in the programs and services offered within the Wellbeing Services Centre, including the development and oversight of a Mental Health Crisis Response Team; Ensuring all near misses, incidents, unusual occurrences and errors are reported immediately to the Director of Health and Social Services or designate, and are documented according to policy; Developing workplans and monitoring applicable budgets; Reviewing, preparing and submitting reports directly to applicable funders; Ensuring financial requisitions are submitted by designated deadlines; Monitoring of the facilities and implementing action required; Managing HR activity (I.e. Performance Reviews, Improvement Plans, Interview Process) in collaboration with the Director of Health and Social Services; Developing, liaising and/or maintaining on-going relationships with other First Nations, government agencies, funders and external community service partners; Representing health and social services on internal and external committees as delegated by the Director of Health and Social Services; Meeting with citizens; Identifying needs and facilitating the expansion of the Wellbeing Services Centre; Completing funding applications, coordinating contractors and managing deliverables; Fostering a positive and effective environment for both clients and staff. Organizing and motivating staff; Ensuring staff have the resources and tools for effective collaboration; Managing attendance of applicable staff at the Wellbeing Services Centre; Supporting health and social program planning and delivery; Supporting the development and implementation of policies; Promoting the vision, mission and values of Hiawatha First Nation; Other duties as assigned. *Requirements:* Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a Health or Social Related field, or anoth- LocationHiawatha, ON
