<p>As a member of the Engineering Services team and reporting to the Mechatronics Software Team Leader, your main mandate will be to ensure the definition, implementation and validation of the OTA (over-the-air) software update system for the various electronic modules (ECUs) of BRP vehicles.</p> <p><strong>YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in the definition of component requirements for the OTA solution and its architecture</li> <li>Select appropriate technologies to meet project needs;</li> <li>Initiate and conduct reviews of proposed OTA system solutions;</li> <li>Design and develop test cases to validate proposed concepts;</li> </ul> <p><strong><b><span>YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:</span></b></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or robotics with software expertise;</li> <li>Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience;</li> <li>Oral and written bilingualism (French/English); Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis;</li> <li>Experience in OTA system design;</li> <li>Good knowledge of microcontroller architecture, memory configurations, device drivers, compiler and debugger;</li> <li>Practical experience of UDS, CAN and Ethernet protocols an asset;</li> <li>Significant knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, as well as scripting languages such as Python;</li> </ul> <p><strong>ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY</strong></p> <p><span>BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
