*Job Opportunity: Part-Time Assistant at Mystic & Magick * Mystic & Magick, a creative and growing small business specializing in crystals, gemstones, jewelry, and other mystical treasures, is seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Assistant to join the team! If you?re passionate about marketing, social media, customer service, as well as crystals, gemstones, and their unique energies, this position could be perfect for you! Position: Part-Time Assistant Hours: 20-25 hours per week Rate: $20.00/hour Location: Kingston, ON (West end) *Responsibilities*: - Assist during fast-paced live sales on Instagram (Tuesdays) and Facebook (Thursdays), monitoring comments to record sales, engaging with customers, and handling multiple tasks at once. - Set up and display products for live sales, contributing to creative themes and marketing ideas. - Organize sales data and customer addresses, while using browser-based accounting software to verify payments and assist with financial entries. - Maintain customer relationships by responding to messages and questions in a professional and friendly manner, reflecting our business brand. - Utilize strong document and spreadsheet software skills (Microsoft or Google) for tracking sales, payments, and inventory. - Support weekend events like sidewalk sales, assisting with setup, customer service, and sales. - Be proactive and resourceful, taking initiative to figure things out when the need arises. - Assist with product inventory management and ordering. - Occasionally help with product ordering and other administrative tasks. *Requirements:* - Experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and live sales. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling priorities efficiently. - Creative thinker who enjoys helping with marketing ideas, product displays, and packaging design. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Excellent customer service and communication abilities. - Strong proficiency with document and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets). - Willingness to work late evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional weekends. - Own transportation and a valid driver?s license for deliveries and trips to shows and market visits. - Flexible schedule. - Skills in Photoshop or other photo editing or creative software are a plus! *Why Join Us?* This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a creative business environment.
