\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care within a hospital or acute care setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring they receive the necessary support and encouragement throughout their treatment. \*Duties\* - Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient needs. - Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and organization. - Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist. - Educate patients on exercises and techniques to promote recovery and prevent further injury. - Provide compassionate support to patients, helping them feel comfortable and motivated during their rehabilitation process. - Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with medical protocols. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. \*Skills\* - Strong understanding of patient care principles, with a focus on empathy and effective communication. - Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices. - Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment is preferred but not mandatory. - Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting. - Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail in documenting patient information accurately. - A proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour
