<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>We are currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our Team</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Accounts Receivable</strong></p><p>Assist in the design and implementation of AR policies designed to meet corporate objectives.</p><p>Process and approve new credit applications, assigning and updating limits as required.</p><p>Approve or decline orders placed on credit hold (past due/over-limit).</p><p>Manage collection process to ensure minimum loss while maintaining customer satisfaction. This includes contacting customers</p><p>filing with collection agencies, small claims court, etc.</p><p>Prepare reports to track and monitor progress on AR collection (i.e. AR Summary, over 60-day reports, NSF cheques, etc).</p><p>Prepare reconciliation reports, as required.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Accounts Payable</strong></p><p>Quickly & Accurately: Review invoices for accuracy, codes, recommend for payment, and take appropriate quick pay discounts.</p><p>Prepare cheques and other forms of payment for approval.</p><p>Prepare sundry returns and payments for various government agencies.</p><p>Prepare payroll for Controller/ Vice President for approval.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Day-to-Day Operational Efficiency</strong></p><p>Maintain proficiency with AIMS systems and other software programs, as required.</p><p>Document and distribute correct coding of miscellaneous general ledger payments.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Finance </strong></p><p>Monthly balancing of general ledger to sub-ledger.</p><p>Complete daily deposit.</p><p>Create payment register, assess current cash flow position, recommend pay run amount to Vice President, and assist with monitoring working capital.</p><p>Complete and assist with monthly bank reconciliation.</p><p>Assists with other accounting tasks or special projects as required for the Vice President.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Other </strong></p><p>Generate vendors and dashboard reports monthly.</p><p>Act as benefit administrator and conduct other HR-related duties as required</p><p>Assist with the order desk when necessary</p><p>Administer the company's sales CRM system to ensure outside sales team KPIs are achieved</p><p> </p><p><strong>Compensation </strong></p><p>Salary range $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience, with an annual bonus of $3,000 based on performance. </p><p>Participate in the company's 50/50 shared employee benefit plan after probation </p></div>Company Description<div>W.E.
