Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary
Our law firm has an opening for a full-time position for an Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary. The duties of this position include:
· Preparation of legal documents including, reports, invoices, affidavits, land titles and court applications
· Organize and maintain client files
· Take messages from clients and schedule appointments
· Perform data entry for client database and accounting system
· Respond to phone enquiries, messages and emails
· Maintain records and confidential files electronically and manually
· Review documents for completeness and accuracy
· Make photocopies of correspondence, documents, and other printed matter
· Organize envelopes, postage and mail for clients
· Perform other related office duties as assigned
The successful applicant will have experience with Microsoft Office programs, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and efficient at multi-tasking. The ability to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
Our firm is a busy general law practice serving our client base in southwest Manitoba.
