Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Operate computer controlled equipment. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Type of heavy equipment operated: Operate forklift. Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Bobcats. Equipment and machinery experience: Powered lifting equipment. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
