*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and intra-group transactions. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Accounts Payable:* Assist with processing and managing accounts payable transactions. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintain records of all payable transactions.
* *Bank Reconciliation:* Perform regular bank account reconciliations to verify that bank statements match company records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
* *General Ledger Maintenance:* Support in the maintenance of the general ledger by recording journal entries and ensuring all transactions are accurately posted.
* *Intra-Group Transactions:* Calculate, post, and prepare documentation for intra-group transactions on an annual and quarterly basis, as required. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
* *Documentation and Reporting:* Prepare and maintain documentation related to financial transactions and reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* *Support:* Provide support for various accounting projects and tasks as needed, including assisting with audits and special assignments.
*Qualifications:*
* *Education:* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications will be considered.
* *Experience:* Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous, but not required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
* *Skills:*
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* *Communication:* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and other departments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
