Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: General manufacturing. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Machinist Trade Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots.
