*The Stonecroft Inn* in *Windsor, Ontario is* seeking a qualified FULL TIME FRONT DESK AGENT with a high level of professionalism and effective decision making.
Applicant must have strong interpersonal and administrative skills. This professional should have the ability to welcome guests with a pleasant smile and interact with them politely.
Applicant should be diplomatic and be able to get along well with staff personnel. Applicant should be obliging, accommodating, and must believe in excellent customer service. Good problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, basic math skills, and ability to work under pressure.
We are looking for a person to join our staff and I have listed a few items to consider before submitting application. We are looking for someone to stay long term with us here, and someone willing to put in the work and training to do so.
Wage is : $19.25- $21.00/ hour : 40hrs per week. Availability needs to be open, meaning we operate 365 days a year. We need someone who can work weekdays, weekends, and with Shifts expected to be both , 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. Training period can last anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks. Benefits would be considered after 1 year of employment

* Successful history of customer service as a front desk agent or related hospitality experience.

*Responsibilities:*
* Register & process guests to their assigned rooms
* Welcome and greet the incoming guests and provide them information regarding the services of hotel, the type of rooms available and suggest them places they should visit, may be for shopping, entertainment, or business purpose
* Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms are serviced correctly accounted and ready for next guest to check-in.
* Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
* Handle all the phone calls and answer them in a polite and pleasant tone
* Maintain records of the guests by registering them and assigning rooms as per their requirement
* To seek information as to how the customer is planning to make his/her payment
* Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
* Other duties as assigned by your manager.
