Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Appliance installation and repair technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Repair electrical appliances and components. Handle, recover and store refrigerants. Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment. Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Appliance Repair Trade Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Air conditioning system. Large household appliances. Power tools. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Eligible for professional liability insurance. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Ability to distinguish between colours. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear.
