JOB PURPOSE:Reporting to the Health, Safety and Wellness Manager, the Health, Safety & Wellness Specialist is responsible for providing support in all areas of HSW for driving continuous improvement in all departments. In addition, this position is responsible for leading Conestoga's site expansion, wellness program, project management and WSIB programs. Determine, implement and verify the corrective actions have been completed and are sustainable.Site ExpansionAttend all meetings and workshops as the frontline HS&W representativeProvide ergonomic, process design, security and material flow adviceEnsure all legislative requirements are addressed in the planning phase and implemented in the final phase (i.e. loto, confined spaces, etc.)Participate in factory acceptance testing of new equipmentLead hazard and risk assessments, complete physical job descriptions and assist the training team with Visual Job InstructionsWellness ProgramLeader of our Wellness ProgramReview our occupational and non-occupational statistics to develop initiatives to reduce the risk of the same health, safety and illness incidentsWorking alongside the EE Engagement & Development Department, develop and implement Wellness initiatives at least quarterlyComplete post event reviews to determine the effectiveness of the initiative and the level of team engagementSite SecurityContact for our site security program, including keys, perimeter access, prote- LocationBreslau, ON
