*Job Summary:*
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Nanz Pharma you will be responsible for overseeing and managing warehouse operations to ensure efficient and compliant handling, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and productivity within the warehouse.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* *Supervision and Leadership:* Manage and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure that team members are well-informed and adhere to operational procedures and safety protocols.
* *Inventory Management:* Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Ensure inventory levels are maintained, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
* *Regulatory Compliance:* Ensure all warehouse operations comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and incorporate them into warehouse procedures.
* *Documentation:* Oversee and maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, including receiving reports, shipment documentation, and inventory audits. Ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
* *Quality Assurance:* Conduct regular inspections to ensure products are stored in proper conditions and handled according to quality standards. Implement corrective actions for any quality or compliance issues.
* *Safety and Hygiene:* Enforce safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* *Equipment Management:* Oversee the operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained in good working conditions.
* *Operational Efficiency:* Monitor and optimize warehouse workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance warehouse operations.
* *Audits and Inspections:* Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Prepare and provide necessary documentation and ensure compliance during inspections.
* *Problem Resolution:* Address and resolve operational issues, including inventory discrepancies, shipment errors, and staff concerns. Provide solutions to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
*Job Requirements:*
*Education: *Bachelor?s degree; additional certification in supply chain management, warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
* Familiarity with GMP requirements and their application in a pharmaceutical environment.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
*Experience:* 5 - 7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.55-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
