Mount and scan photographs. Design and layout pages. Set type for printing. Produce project designs. Arrange for project printing and publication. Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes or specialized software. Perform the layout, page make-up and placement using the conceptual mock-ups provided. Produce computerized images and drawings. Review the graphic designer's instructions. Operate and monitor printing machines during print run and make adjustments. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials. Operate photographic enlarging equipment to produce prints and enlargements from negatives. Load printer with paper and forms. Type of materials: Vinyl. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows. Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Colour printer. Type of production art: General production art. Product packaging. Signs or billboards. Print advertising. Annual reports. Forms. Greeting cards. Production editing activities: Art and graphics design. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Area of specialization: Graphic design.
