Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Overhaul aircraft instruments. Repair and overhaul, modify, install and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical, electronic and instrument components. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence (AME) - E. Avionics Systems Endorsements. CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification. Type of industry experience: Aircraft manufacturing. Military aviation. Repair and overhaul facility. Security and safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
