Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Teach art classes
  • Create drawings, paintings using materials such as pens, watercolors and oil
  • Create sculptures, statues and other three-dimensional artwork by shaping and carving
  • Supervise other artists or apprentices
  • Teach students art techniques and methods such as drawing, painting, sculping, or other forms of artistic expression
  • Produce computerized images and drawings
