<b>ROLE SUMMARY </b>: <span><div><span><span>In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students? request; participation in pedagogical days organized by the College; participation in departmental meetings and required activities.</span></span></div></span><br><br><b>DUTIES</b>: <span><ul> <li><span><span><span>Complete/Adapt a course Outline to explaining the level of effort and evaluation/teaching techniques to be used during the delivery of the course.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Adapt existing class </span>materials if required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Adapt existing lab materials if required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Teach class material while maintaining control of classroom.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Supervise Labs (No Teaching Assistants (TAs).</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Support students outside of class.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Correct and comment on all lab and exam material returned to students (as required).</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Adapt pedagogical methods to the students needs.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Participate in College Pedagogical Days.</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Participate in Department coordination meetings.</span></span></span></li></ul></span><br><br><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED</b>: <span><ul> <li><span><span>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical engineering or science (or equivalent) is required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Fluency in English, both oral and written is required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Programming experience in C and/or C++ is required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Teaching experience at the undergraduate or college level would be considered an asset.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience in soldering, bread boarding, circuit testing and troubleshooting would be considered an asset.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Experience in Information Technology would be considered an asset.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>A working knowledge of French, oral and reading, would be an asset.</span></span></li></ul></span><br><br><b>ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS</b>: <span><ul></ul><span><span><strong>Ability to:</strong></span></span><ul> <li><span><span>Create a dynamic, challenging, and motivated learning environments.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Adapt to a variety of student needs and provide appropriate academic and career development support to students.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Employ exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through practical experiences.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Apply theoretical concepts to current workplace needs and skill requirements.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Must be flexible as required by the department workloads.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Stay abreast of changes and new program requirements through regular professional development activities.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Be willing to work collaboratively within the department team.</span></span></li></ul></span><br><br><b>SALARY RANGE (PER HOUR)</b>: <span>54,661.00$ - 105,266.00$</span><br><br><b>SPECIFIC SECTION</b>: <span></span><br><br> <br> <ul></ul>- LocationGatineau, QC
