Invites applications for Permanent Part Time Educational Assistant - <p>Esterhazy High School <p> Location: <p> Esterhazy, Saskatchewan <p> Assignment/Contract: <p> 5.5 hours/day - Permanent Part-Time <p> Start date: <p> September 24, 2024 <p> Salary: <p> In Accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement <p> Contact: <p> Tracy Huckell, Principal - tracy.huckell@gssd.ca<p> OR<p> Valerie Ruf, Student Services Consultant - valerie.ruf@gssd.ca The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a permanent part-time Educational Assistant (EA).<p> EAs support student learning in the classroom environment and other educational settings.<p>These dynamic individuals support teachers and school teams in meeting the diverse learning needs of students.<p> EAs are valuable members of a team which collaborates to promote student learning, well-being and success.<p>Number of Vacancies: One (1) Assignment and Term: <p> This position is a permanent part-time position of 5.5 hours/day in accordance with the Educational Assistant school calendar. The position commences September 24 with the work schedule to be determined by the principal and student services. <p> Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement. The duties of an Educational Assistant are to: Work closely with students to meet their diverse learning goals.<p> Provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care.<p> Assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom.<p> Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school.<p> Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designate and those listed in Job Description - Educational Assistant The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications: Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.<p> Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
