This role provides opportunities to expand skills, develop creative solutions, and build meaningful relationships. The Coordinator supports the Ministry of Rights in achieving strategic goals by working closely with Managers on the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal processes, policies, and projects. The Coordinator will lead the integral function of the Ministry of Rights by managing incoming policy, legislation, engagement, and/or referral requests for MNBC and delegate them to the relevant ministries and departments. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient and timely workflow, providing administrative support, coordinating projects, meetings, and events, preparing documents, and conducting research.The Ministry of Rights is an independent ministry at MNBC that is expanding in responsibilities and capacity. The Ministry of Rights is evolving into a central service agency to lead and/or support other MNBC ministries in various capacities and roles. The Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Manager of Métis Rights, Manager of Métis Rights: Policy and Legislation, and Manager of Métis Rights: Regulatory Affairs.
