Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Review work orders . Test automotive systems and components. Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs . Perform scheduled maintenance service. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Attention to detail. Overtime required.
