Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Cut agricultural crops. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Weeding. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Perform general farm duties. Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.
