Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine. Repair, build and modify prosthetic or orthotic appliances or footwear. Set up and dismantle equipment. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages. Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietition or nutritionist. Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments. Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food. Label and process donated blood. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Maintain supplies. Assist chiropractor with physical examinations.
