Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Outdoors. Tree and orchard fruit. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Staff accommodation provided. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Shear and shape trees and plants with knife. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of crops: Apples. Cherries. Grapes. Equipment and machinery experience: Vegetable or fruit harvester. Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
