Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Mask. Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Team player.
