Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images. Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, and make adjustments to equipment, as required. Record, store and process scanned images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment. Provide personnal asistance to patients during treatments. Prepare examination reports for physicians. Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CRCS - Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer. Area of specialization: Adult echocardiography. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment.
