Hill Supplies is looking for two *Inside/Outside Sales Representative* at the Richmond Hill office. The *sales rep* will be responsible for *Plumbing & Electrical sales*, with the willingness to expand their knowledge across all the products we distribute. This candidate will be a plumbing/electrical sales specialist and will be working closely with the purchasing and sales teams. The sales rep will also develop relationships with existing and new customers, generate leads, quotations, stock checks, and increase overall sales/profit. This position is also responsible for handling customer inquiries, and servicing customers at the counter. _*Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)*_ * *Knowledge of plumbing or electrical is a must with some knowledge of mechanical based electrical components* * Customer Service - Queries, Communications. * Keeps abreast of new products and acquires/shares competitive knowledge. * Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, national accounts. * Develops strong business relationships in growing existing accounts, prospects for opportunities within account base. * Partner with counter and purchasing teams with orders, stock checks, and quotations * Sales Quoting, Pricing, Product Sourcing, Substitution Responsibilities * Must Have Strong Organizational Skills and Pay Close Attention to Detail * Ability to Prioritize/Multi-Task * Professional Telephone Manner and communications Skills * Ability to Make, And Assist in Implementation Of, Suggestions for Improvement Regarding Internal Processes and Procedures _*Requirements*_ * *Minimum of 3-4 years in wholesale/distribution environment* * Demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service. * *Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and order entry software* * Knowledge of basic *plumbing or electrical sales *is a must. * Basic knowledge of HVAC/Mechanical controls. * Ability to lift over 50 lbs _*Core Competencies*_ * Time Management * Continuous Learning and Development * Accountability and Dependability * Planning and Organizing * Mediating and Negotiating * Enjoys Working with People * Excellent Problem-Solving Capabilities * Ability to Work Well Under Pressure and Heavy Workload * Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision * Excellent Teaming and Collaborative Skills; People-Oriented * High Level of Patience *If you are customer oriented and ready to be part of a fast-paced environment, we look forward to meeting you!
