Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Wet/damp. Work setting: Construction. Installation. Maintenance. Repair. Service. Testing. Troubleshooting. Troubleshooting/diagnostic. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Train or arrange for training. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Recommend personnel actions.
