Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Dental practice. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Perform intra-oral duties. Invoice patients for dental services. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in the Canadian Dental Assistants Association. Registration with provincial or territorial authorities. Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
