Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Supervise other drafting personnel . Train new drafting personnel. Develop and prepare design sketches. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Prepare contracts and tenders. Write technical reports. Write specifications. Estimate costs and materials. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Leading/instructing groups. Computer and technology knowledge: Computer-aided design (CAD). AutoCAD. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently a student?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Financial benefits: Bonus.
