Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).- LocationSurrey, BC
