Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Office. Manufacture. Transportation equipment industry. Tasks: Create manufacturing instructions. Create user manuals. Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Computer-aided design (CAD). Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Test machines and equipment. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. CATIA. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. SolidWorks software. Equipment and machinery experience: Welding. Area of work experience: Research and development. Parts specialization: Automobile. Area of specialization: Machinery and components. Moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Drafting. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Willing to travel. Public transportation is not available.
