Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Odours. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervision: 11-15 people. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Overtime required. Repetitive tasks. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Team player. Efficient interpersonal skills. Dependability. Judgement. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?.
