Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts. Wind, assemble and install various types of coils. Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts. Perform on-site servicing and repair. Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear. Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance. Equipment, eystems and controls experience: Electronic testing equipment and systems. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?.
