Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Air conditioned. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Arena. Recreational facility/institution. Sport and recreation club. Tasks: Operate machines to clean, smooth and prepare ice surfaces. Determine snow quality. Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage. Clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds. Monitor snow making operation. Shut down snow making plant. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Judgement. Team player. Organized.
