Cam Clark Automotive Group is seeking a results-oriented *Payroll Administrator *at our *Cam Clark Ford *dealership in *Airdrie, AB.*

In the position of *Payroll Administrator *reporting to the *Payroll Lead, *the successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for our B.C. dealerships. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll processes are in accordance with all monthly schedules, cutoffs, and collective agreements where applicable.
_*You will be accountable for:*_
* Preparing bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for 500+ hourly/salary and commission employees in a timely and accurate manner, reviewing entries for accuracy, calculating garnishment deductions, ensuring source deductions are correct and validating payroll registers prior to submitting final payrolls.
* Investigating payroll discrepancies and errors and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Administering and reconciling the employee benefit programs.
* Processing WorkSafe and WCB claims and liaise with stakeholders on outstanding issues.
* Posting payroll journals, submitting payment requests, clearing account, and posting accruals.
* Preparing Payroll Year End including T4 completion, Annual Returns, reconciliation, and filings.
* Managing the payroll email inbox and answer payroll related questions.
* Assisting with implementation of new payroll software.
* Other duties as required.
_*To be successful in this role, you must have:*_
* High school diploma and Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification or (underway) with five years? experience in Canadian payroll processing.
* Knowledge or experience with PBS would be an asset.
* Knowledge of Ceridian Powerpay, PayWorks and/or Clarity would be an asset.
* Experience in multi-provincial payroll.
* Individuals with experience in the automotive/dealership industry would be considered an asset.
* Experience with WorkSafe and WCB claim submission.
* Experience in union and non-union payroll with a minimum of 250 hourly staff.
* Experience managing and processing both Canada and USA payroll.
* Knowledge of group benefits and pension plans.
* Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Comprehensive understanding and solid working knowledge of Canadian Payroll.
* Implementation experience would also be an asset.
* Work independently and productively.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines.
