*OVERVIEW*
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts and developing new business opportunities. This role will be 80% account management and 20% business development.
*POSITION SUMMARY*
The Inside Account Manager (IAM) will be responsible to grow assigned accounts, create new customers, and meet or exceed annual sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction. The IAM presents a professional image at all times to customers and is articulate over the phone gain the business. The IAM is responsible for managing the sales performance of accounts, ensuring ongoing and consistent telephone, e-mail, and newsletter communication. This position will proactively call on prospects and customers to sell products and services, as well as take inbound orders from customers or prospect calls. The IAM sells the entire product offering of the company to the account base.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Generates new and repeat sales by answering customer inquiries and providing product & technical information in a timely manner
* Develops and maintains a relationship with each client and an understanding of customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
* Increases sales and average order sizes by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering solutions appropriate for each customer account
* Accurately processes customer transactions such as quotes, orders, releases, or returns
* Collaborates harmoniously with internal manufacturing and support staff throughout the order fulfillment and problem resolution process for customers, including: quality issues, credit collection and management, etc.
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Minimum 2 years relevant sales experience, in printing and/or converting position preferred
* Effective listening, business communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and phone skills
* Intermediate computer skills required, with ERP Systems, Power BI and Excel
* Dynamics AX is a plus
