Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions. Conduct performance reviews. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems.
