Position Overview
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of a specific childcare center. By adhering to Morning Glory Daycare & OSC policies, you will contribute to our mission of providing quality primary and backup childcare services conveniently located near parents' workplaces. Our goal is to assist corporations in promoting a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities
Foster children's emotional, physical, and behavioral well-being, while nurturing their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records.
Implement an Emergent Curriculum approach.
Ensure attendance records and conduct health and safety checks.
Collaborate with professionals like Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as needed.
Support smooth transitions for children entering and leaving classrooms.
Adhere to classroom ratios and standards.
Participate in and even lead staff meetings and workshops.
Assist the Centre Director in managing child/staff files and meeting ministry requirements.
Qualifications
Registered as an ECE level 2 or 3 in the province of Alberta.
Clear criminal record check with vulunerble sector.
Valid Childcare First Aid and CPR certification.
Up-to-date immunizations.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 45 pounds.

Pay: $32,000.00-$38,000.00 per year
