*Main Duties and Responsibilities*
* Build and develop our Western Canada business with a deep knowledge of key retailers.
* Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue expectations.
* Conduct yearly strategy sessions with key retailers and distribution partners to build distribution plans and promo calendars.
* Build and own trade budget to grow distribution and accelerate sales.
* Forecast demand.
* Maintain spend within trade rate.
* Leverage data to make business critical selections around forecast, P&L, and for presentations.
* Partner with 3PL and manufacturing teams to ensure on time delivery and replenishment, instituting key KPIs to ensure customer metrics are met.
* Work with distributors to grow our business at key accounts, regional accounts, and with independents.
* Partners cross functionally with Ops, Finance, Marketing, Private Label and ESG teams to deliver our message and service our customers.
* Complete internal business requests, as needed.
*Education and Experience*
* Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent field experience.
* Experience with P&L accountability and a demonstrated history of success in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
*Key Skills and Competencies*
* Hunger to open and build distribution in Canada.
* Working knowledge of key distribution partners in Canada.
* Working knowledge of London Drugs, Federated Co-op, Save-on-Foods.
* Passionate about the environment, sustainable living, and eradication of plastic in households.
* Working knowledge of syndicated data is a plus.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with and influence administration and cross-functional teams.
* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, HubSpot and other relevant software tools.
* Ability to travel on a flexible schedule on a regular basis, including crossing the US-Canada border.
* Flexibility to work weekends, as needed.
* Ability to work in a fast-growing start-up environment.
