Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Gauges. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic lathes. Drill presses. Engine lathes. Milling machines. Sawing machine. Surface grinders. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
